Can I use HearLink with my own Bluetooth headphones?

I got it working this way:
HearLink 3-in-1 → Bluetooth (SBC) → cheero TouchBone CHE-628
About pairing
Pairing was a bit tricky.
At first, I tried the Wireless Remote Mic mode. Pairing the two devices was easy, but initially I could only hear sound from the left side. Then, after about 3–5 seconds, the sound disappeared completely.
I thought the HearLink might be defective or not fully charged, so I charged it for about an hour.
After charging, I tried the TV Transmitter mode, but the result was the same as with Wireless Remote Mic mode.
Then I tried pressing the MF button twice quickly. This time, I could hear sound in stereo mode, but the sound was really strange.
I think it might have been caused by a sample rate mismatch or something similar.
However, after about 5 minutes, the sound suddenly returned to normal.

Just a quick tip for other users: if sound is coming through only one side or disappears after pairing, you can usually resolve this by switching off the HearLink and turning it back on after 1–2 minutes, then reconnecting the headphones.
For TV listening, HearLink can also be used simply by placing the microphone near the TV speaker. It will pick up the TV audio and transmit it to your connected Bluetooth headphones.

Although having the hearing part of the hearing aid outside the ear is a fabulous idea, when I spoke to my husband using the system, he didn't hear it well at all. Actually, he said it sounded like a buzzing sound, which made it almost impossible for him to understand me. I want to return the system because it didn't work and get a refund. How can I do that? I ordered this for my husband.
He was diagnosed last year with significant hearing loss in one of his ears and reduced hearing in the other.
It is very difficult for him to deal with.
I have purchased him 2 different types of traditional hearing aids, unfortunately, he struggles with the fact that they “look” like hearing aids and both have small drawbacks. Primarily they are inserted in the ear and he says that the hey slip out when he moves around.
What attracted me to your device is the design.
Unlike traditional hearing aids yours is bone induction and are not inserted in the ears, because of this design, he doesn’t have to worry about them falling out and because they are significantly larger there’s no worries about losing them.
The quality of the sound is good, but, the fact that the separate microphone has to be placed just right for optimal hearing can be challenging.
Otherwise he seems to like it, at least a lot better than anything else we have tried.
He does really like that when he’s wearing it, it doesn’t make him feel as self conscious because it just looks like he’s wearing headphones.
That alone means so much!

It turns out it didn’t work for my husband, although he is a special case this has nothing to do with the product. I returned it and the people in Customer Service could not have been nicer. Best experience I’ve ever had.

1. (الصوت المحيطي) موجود في أغلب السماعات بنفس السعر
2. تغير الصوت أثناء التحويل من سماع الصوت المحيطي إلى سماع المقاطع مزعج علماً أنه غير موجود في أغلب السماعات الأخرى
