What is Bone Conduction Technology?

Bone conduction technology is a way to transmit sound directly to the inner ear through the bones of the skull, bypassing the eardrum entirely. This is accomplished through the use of bone conduction headphones, which typically rest on the cheekbones or behind the ears.

The sound from the PEACE Pillow Speaker isn’t loud enough when used with a memory foam pillow. Why is that?

Memory foam pillows are denser and tend to absorb sound more than other types of pillows. This can reduce the perceived volume from the PEACE speaker. For better results, we recommend placing the speaker closer to the edge of the pillow or using a softer, less dense pillow material. Our engineering team has carefully tuned the speaker for optimal performance, but pillow material can still affect the sound experience.

Why does the PEACE pillow speaker keep playing the same song repeatedly when using the Micro SD card?

By default, the PEACE pillow speaker is set to loop a single song. This design helps create a consistent and calming sound environment that encourages relaxation and better sleep. Sudden changes in melody or rhythm can make the brain stay alert, while repeating the same soothing sound signals your body that it’s time to rest. If you prefer to play all the songs stored on your Micro SD card, simply triple-press the “Volume –” button to switch to playlist loop mode. The speaker will then cycle through all your tracks instead of repeating one.

Does the PEACE pillow speaker have a sleep timer?

Yes! It features a 3-timer option—set it for 30 mins, 1 hour, or 2 hours. This ensures you can fall asleep naturally without worrying about turning it off, helping to save battery life while you rest.

Can I use the Jabees PEACE pillow speaker without Bluetooth?

PEACE bluetooth wireless pillow speaker featuring bone conduction technology to stream nature sounds audio book sleep music to help you fall asleep quicker.

Just a speaker with no actual outlet for sound, does not seem to use any kind of noise transference or bone conduction. Only way to hear through a pillow is to have it full volume, high enough that others can hear it. May as well just use a regular Bluetooth speaker or pillow speaker. Packaging and design appears to be decent but does not work as described and is not fit for purpose.

PEACE is designed as a pillow speaker that delivers sound through close-contact audio under the pillow, so the listening experience can vary quite a bit depending on pillow thickness, material, and placement. Positioning the speaker closer to where your ear rests usually makes a significant difference, especially with denser pillows.

We’d also recommend trying playback from the Micro SD card (if you haven’t already), as Bluetooth streaming quality and output level can vary quite a bit depending on the phone, app, and Bluetooth source. In many cases, local playback from the Micro SD card provides a more stable and consistent listening experience.

Many nights I listen to audiobooks to fall asleep…ear buds is what I used but I found in the middle of the night I would wake up when I turned over because the earbud would hurt my ear. When I saw this speaker system on Grommet I decided to try it. I love it. I can listen without earbuds hurting my ears and my husband can’t hear it even though he’s right beside me. Great product !
